The choice was made after mysterious hitmen killed rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, his friend Tebello “Tibz” Montsoane, and their former manager in cold blood outside the eatery on February 10.

The restaurant has issued an official statement confirming its permanent closure.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the imminent closure of Wish On Florida effective 10th April 2023.” According to the announcement, the outlet will be hosting The Last Supper on 10 April and never open again.

The company’s promoters acknowledged that after the unfortunate deaths of the two men on that terrible night, business suffered significantly.

“In light of the tragic event on our doorstep, we have experienced a severe downturn in business which leaves the directors with no other choice but to close the business permanently as the brand equity of Wish On Florida has been deeply hindered,” they said.

As was to be anticipated, the supporters of the Wish brand asserted that closing the company was a difficult choice because the workers’ financial security depended on it.
