Babes talked with her fans during the live session and addressed some of their pressing inquiries. One fan wanted to know about her romantic history and whether she was eager to start dating again.
Babes responded to the fan without holding back, claiming that while she is h0rny and lonely, she now desires to date a white man.
“Personally I prefer a white partner because they don’t talk too much. What is your suggestion because I’m really h0rny and it’s not funny anymore? It’s now getting to my head,” Babes replied.
Babes also talked about her next record release, stating that it will happen next month. She even mentioned declining a number of work offers as she struggles to adjust to life without her hubby.
Babes also spoke up about her battle with depression and how she uses alcohol to treat it.
There were rumors that Babes Wodumo’s late spouse Shimora had left her with a large debt load. According to a source, Babes resides at her marital house with her family.
“He has left her in a lot of debt. Luckily, they own the house, but the debt has accumulated,” the friend said as quoted by the blog.
Another source claims, “He was managing all the finances of the business and household. These people met when Babes was very young, he has always been guiding her and taking care of the money. But she now has to manage everything on her own. She is in serious debt.”
“There was a time when they almost lost the house, but it was paid off. But she will recover because shooting Life After Mampintsha, season of their reality show with Showmax. But for now, things are rough and she is taking as many bookings as possible.”
Babes manager and older sister Nondumiso Simelane responded to these rumours by saying, “Who doesn’t have debt bandla. Babes will be fine. She will share her story when she is ready.”
Even Babes urged her followers to vote Kwaito duo Big Nuz in the 17th annual Metro FM Awards. They are up for nominations in the Song of the Year, Best Duo or Group, and Best Kwaito / Gqom Song categories.
