Dineo Ranaka, a mother of three, sangoma, radio and TV personality, has recently posted videos and photos of herself sculpting and making art as a way to express herself. Dineo recently posted on social media about how she can relate to others who are suicidal.

In a series of posts, she shares how staying alive is a struggle.”I completely understand souls/spirits/people that commit suicide. I get it. I get them.” She goes on to say that she is fighting the urge to commit suicide but it is difficult. “Because I’m trying my best to not commit suicide, my mind is so loud of late and life is fu*&&ng hard and I’m trying my best, but it seems my best is not enough,” she shares. “My children, God. Abantwana bam.”
Kaya 959 released a statement wishing her well through her healing of their breakfast show host. “The Kaya 959 family is keeping Dineo in their hearts, and we wish her healing. We also ask for privacy as Dineo gets through this difficult time.” the station’s Colleen Louw wrote.
Dineo has disclosed that he battles depression and anxiety. She talked on how terrible the last three years had been for her and how she had divorced in 2021. According to reports, the reality television actress was abused by her ex-husband.
“I have been thinking quite a lot, I’ll be honest. I’ve been thinking about how I’ve been feeling; life experiences in the past three years, how they have made me feel, and how they’ve changed me,” she said. She went on to say how she suffered from psychological trauma. “I’ve been in a state of stress and anxiety, just trying to figure out how I’m going to re-navigate myself from the psychological trauma. I’ve been doing a lot of reflection, soul-searching of having a deep conversation with myself. I think the solution I’ve got, it’s all giving me stress and making me anxious… making me congested mentally,” Dineo shared. Messages of support have since come from colleagues and fans wishing her well.
