The 32-year-old television host disclosed in a recent radio interview that she never anticipated getting divorced and that raising her child in separate homes was never something she had planned for her life.

Before they made their separation public, Minnie also admitted that her four-year marriage to her spouse had already ended, despite both of them making unsuccessful attempts to work out the problems.

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and the rumor that he had previously given lobola for her before she met her ex-partner have both been addressed by the television host and actress.

While on DJ Fresh’s YouTube podcast, “WAW! What A Week!”, Minnie clarified that the goalkeeper did not pay lobola for her.

The Honeymoon actress even refuted rumors that she was bought with lobola before she wed Jones, her ex-husband who has since moved on.

Rumor has it that Minnie dated the player, 35, for three years before breaking off their engagement in 2014 and getting married to Jones, whom she has a kid with.

The mother of one claims that her relationship with Khune never progressed to that point and that they were never engaged; everything that was said about them was just a rumor that went viral on social media and shouldn’t have been taken seriously.

Minnie complained to DJ Fresh that she detests the fact that people continue to bring up Khune’s R1 million lobola payment for her. She never experienced it, so everyone with good judgment should ignore it.

“The worst misconception is that Khune lobola’ed me. That’s the worst one, I hate it, I hate it! People still think it’s true. I actually went on a date and this person actually thought it was real, and I was like no, the relationship wasn’t that hectic,” she said.

According to Minnie Dlamini, her ex-husband was the first to buy her lobola, and the part she portrayed in “Honeymoon” served as therapy for her as she went through her divorce.

After initially giving the idea that divorcing Jones had no interest in her, Minnie has now come clean.
