Actor Siyabonga Radebe reportedly admitted to a mental facility

Actor Siyabonga Radebe reportedly admitted to a mental facility. Siyabonga Radebe has reportedly been admitted to a mental facility.

It is believed that the actor who played Vikizitha Magwaza in the SABC1 soap opera may have a mental illness.

The 38-year-old actor joined Uzalo in February and acknowledged that the program had saved him when he allegedly went bankrupt and had to start taking cabs to work.

Siyabonga has reportedly been taken to a psychiatric facility for several weeks and is in a poor mental state, according to a report on Isolezwe.

He was observed strolling about the hospital naked, suggesting that his condition is not improving. A hospital source claimed, “He appears to be a highly mentally troubled individual.”

Another source from Ntuzuma, where the actor resides, claimed that after he relocated back there, locals began to worry about him. Locals reportedly used to witness him chatting to himself while walking.

“He was seen walking down the street wearing a gown and holding a cup of tea. He was not walking a short distance with that cup and gown. We suspect that something has disturbed his mind as he is a person who often seems to have a lot on his mind,” said the source.

Recently, Fanele Bhengu was introduced to the program as Omuhle Gela’s replacement, according to Uzalo and the SABC. Nkanyiso Mchunu, a favorite of the audience, will also be playing Siphamandla “Wizard” Nkosi.
